~Pumpkin Patch~

Made it to the Farm a few weeks ago to get pumpkins  The children had so much fun running through the field trying to find the perfect pumpkin. I told everyone they could pick one pumpkin, but somehow, when we left we had close to a dozen. I guess it was no big deal.. I have a huge front porch! Everybody explained they picked ones for me and Jules.  The white ones were my favorite.

Hmm.. I love Jesus. I love my husband, Eric. I love my 8 beautiful children. I loved living in California. I love sunshine and the beach. Shopping at farmers market and the little stores downtown where I can bargin for the best deal. I love to sew and make things. I love spending time with girlfriends encouraging each other. Date nights with Eric are fabulous. I love ballroom dancing with him. The smell of my new little baby and the miracle of their existance. I love italian food- or just about all of Italy for that matter. I love art- paintings on my wall that I know personally who painted them.

  1. oh what fun. when my boyfriend and i went to pick apples they were right next to the pumpkin patch and to see the kids running excitedly through them and yelling…’oh this is the one’ was so much fun to watch. as an adult i do carefully consider my pumpkin, but i’m sure in some sense the wonder of it all is lost. it was so great to see the pictures of your youngest ones getting a feel for the pumpkins. i’m not sure i’ve seen real white pumpkins up here…they are lovely. sooo beautiful. i can just imagine the centerpieces that could be made!! i’m sure your porch was the loveliest and had the most personality on the block!!

They look like they had a blast! Pour Michael.Did Jules manage to get a bite out of that pumpkin?I really like the picture with the in-focus pumpkins in the foreground, and the blurry barn in the background.
